API Automation Tester with minimum 2-5+ years of experience in Strong Backend/API Automation
testing with Excellent Coding and Problem-Solving skills.
Required Skills
• Extensive knowledge on Rest APIs Automation.
• Hands-on experience in validating Rest APIs Backend/API Automation Framework.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodology and good understanding of Testing Concepts.
• Good knowledge of programming languages like Java, Galang, or Python. Good debugging skills.
• Good to have Cl/CD knowledge. Strong creation/maintenance experience.
• Should have a good understanding of relational databases like Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server (Must
have a good understanding of DB queries, joins, etc.) Must have experience in TestNG, maven, HTTP
client, rest, and web services test automation
• Should be good in SQL queries to validate API and DB data elements
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Will be responsible for developing Automation Scripts for API tests with 100% test coverage.
• Be individual contributors capable of taking up tasks from start to end with minimal assistance.
• Attend daily scrum meetings and highlight any impediments.
• Support test lead/manager in preparing test plan, status reports.
• Tracking of the individual timesheets and efforts.
