Job Overview:
We are looking for a creative and skilled AR/VR Developer to join our team and develop innovative applications that leverage augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing AR and VR experiences for a variety of platforms including mobile, desktop, and headsets. The ideal candidate will have experience with immersive technologies, game engines, and a passion for creating interactive and engaging user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and optimize immersive AR/VR applications using frameworks and
platforms such as Unity3D, Unreal Engine, or ARKit/ARCore.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to define AR/VR use cases and build interactive experiences.
• Implement and integrate 3D models, animations, and interactive elements into AR/VR
environments.
• Optimize AR/VR applications for performance across a wide range of devices, including
mobile phones, tablets, AR glasses, VR headsets (Oculus, HTC Vive, etc.).
• Develop interactive features such as object recognition, gesture tracking, user interaction, and real-time data visualization for AR and VR applications.
• Integrate AR/VR solutions with other business systems, APIs, and platforms to create end-to- end solutions.
• Conduct usability testing, iterate on designs, and refine the user experience to ensure
smooth, intuitive interactions within AR/VR environments.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in AR/VR
development.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues related to AR/VR hardware, software, and performance.
• Collaborate with the testing team to ensure high-quality, bug-free applications.
Key Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Game Development, Software
Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in AR/VR development, with a portfolio showcasing past projects.
• Strong proficiency in Unity3D or Unreal Engine for AR/VR development.
• Experience with ARKit, ARCore, or other AR/VR SDKs and frameworks.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling and asset integration tools (e.g., Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max).
• Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, C++, or JavaScript.
• Knowledge of 3D rendering, lighting techniques, shaders, and real-time graphics.
• Familiarity with user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design for AR/VR applications.
• Understanding of motion tracking, gesture recognition, and spatial mapping for immersive experiences.
• Experience with cloud-based systems, database integration, and networking for multiplayer AR/VR experiences (optional).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
