Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled IoT Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative IoT solutions. As an IoT engineer, you will work on building and managing IoT devices, sensors, and systems, focusing on creating seamless connections between physical devices and cloud applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in embedded systems, sensor technologies, wireless communication, and cloud integration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and deploy IoT solutions, including hardware devices, sensors, and
communication protocols.
• Work on integrating IoT devices with cloud platforms such as AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, or Google Cloud IoT.
• Develop and implement firmware and software for IoT devices, including real-time operating systems and embedded programming.
• Build and manage IoT architecture to ensure seamless device-to-cloud communication and data collection.
• Implement data storage and analytics solutions for IoT data in cloud environments.
• Ensure device security by applying encryption, secure communication protocols, and regular vulnerability assessments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define IoT product requirements and assist in
system architecture design.
• Monitor and troubleshoot IoT devices, networks, and cloud integrations to ensure optimal performance.
• Optimize power and network consumption for IoT devices to enhance performance and
battery life.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and best practices in IoT.
• Stay updated on emerging IoT technologies, protocols, and trends to drive innovation.
Key Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a
related field.
• Proven experience as an IoT Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in embedded programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or Java.
• Experience with hardware design and development of IoT devices and sensors.
• Knowledge of wireless communication protocols like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, LoRa, NB-IoT, etc.
• Experience in integrating IoT devices with cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, Google Cloud IoT).
• Proficiency in working with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and firmware development.
• Familiarity with IoT data protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, or HTTP.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, and IP addressing.
• Experience in IoT data storage solutions and cloud-based data analytics.
• Ability to optimize IoT systems for energy efficiency, scalability, and performance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and troubleshooting abilities.
