We are seeking a passionate Linux Administrator/DevOps Engineer with expertise in
managing web applications and website servers. The ideal candidate will have a strong
background in Linux systems, server administration, and AWS cloud services, with a
proactive approach to server hardening, troubleshooting, and support.

Certifications:
– Mandatory: Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), and Red Hat Certified

Technical Skills:

configuration, and maintenance.
– Experience with LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) and Nginx configurations,
including reverse proxy setups.
– Proficiency in creating, managing, and troubleshooting cronjobs for task automation.
– Strong knowledge of web hosting and domain management.
– Proficiency in AWS services and infrastructure management.
– Expertise in cPanel and email server troubleshooting, including account creation and
resolving related issues.
– Experience in PHP-based web application installation and maintenance (e.g., WordPress, Magento, CodeIgniter).
– Knowledge of server hardening, intrusion detection systems, data backup/recovery,
infrastructure monitoring, and incident management.
– Strong understanding of daily backup processes and scheduling for critical systems and
data.
Collaboration & Communication:
– Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers,
and project managers, to achieve business goals.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for resolving technical issues and
delivering solutions.
Scripting & Automation:
– Proficient in scripting for automation using Bash and Python.
Responsibilities:
– Manage Linux-based servers for optimal performance, security, and uptime.
– Configure, monitor, and optimize servers on AWS infrastructure.
– Administer and optimize MySQL databases for performance and scalability.
– Manage and maintain GIT servers.
– Set up and maintain Nginx as a reverse proxy and web server.
– Configure and troubleshoot cronjobs for routine task automation.
– Resolve email server-related issues, including account creation and troubleshooting.
– Install, configure, and maintain PHP-based web applications and websites (e.g., WordPress, Magento).
– Set up and manage the LAMP stack for web hosting environments.
– Take regular daily backups and ensure data integrity and security.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and implement solutions for
development and deployment needs.
– Monitor and ensure uptime for web applications and websites, addressing downtime
proactively.
– Implement and maintain server hardening measures and security protocols.
– Document technical processes, manuals, and IT policies in an internal wiki.
– Provide training to staff on new technologies and processes.
