Job Title: Service Now Trainee
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for working to develop, design and own technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
The ServiceNow Developer will provide administration, application development, maintenance, and technical support
Configure / Customize robust solutions to the client utilizing the ServiceNow platform and web programming techniques
Provide software coding and customization including, but not limited to: screen tailoring, workflow administration, report setup, data imports, integration, scripting, third party software integrations, and custom application development
Update and maintain a comprehensive testing protocol for ServiceNow instance upgrades with the purpose of certifying all applications for use after the upgrade completes
Obtain and analyze/interpret business requirements to purpose sustainable solutions in ServiceNow.
Answer “how to” technical and application configuration questions.
Develop, maintain, and execute reports to ensure system operation meets performance targets.
Basic understanding of testing concepts, testing standards and best practices
Complete other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 60% marks throughout in academics.
Applicants with Professional Degree having sound technology knowledge.
Familiar with programming languages – Java/.NET/Python, OOPs etc.
Knowledge and Proficiency using SQL language
Well Trained in ServiceNow Administration and Development from reputed Training Institutions
Proficient in ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge and Service Request Management) and ITOM modules of ServiceNow.
Should have completed at least one live project on ITSM
Good to have ITOM live project experience
Should be proficient in User Interface (UI) Policies/Actions, Business Rules, Script Includes, Scheduled Jobs, Glide Application Program Interface (API) stack, Scripted Web-Services, AJAX, HTML, JavaScript, SOAP, REST SSO-SAM
Proficient in developing / customizing core ITSM applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge and Service Request Managements
Certifications (Certified System Administrator) in ServiceNow is a plus
Good understanding of the software development lifecycle, and the relevance of different tools at different stages of the development lifecycle.
Good to have knowledge in web front-end technologies & frameworks
Working knowledge of MS Office (PPT, Excel, Word)
Aware of basic design principles, and able to understand designs
PREFERRED SKILLS:
CSA (Certified System Administrator), CIS (Certified Implementation Specialist) – ITSM / ITOM
