Job Summary:
We are seeking a proficient ServiceNow Developer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for developing, configuring, and customizing the ServiceNow platform to meet the needs
of our business. You will play a crucial role in designing and implementing solutions that improve
service management processes and enhance user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Development and Customization:
o Design, develop, and implement new ServiceNow applications and enhancements.
o Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate the roll-out of new modules and
functionalities.
o Develop workflows, scripts, business rules, and UI policies using ServiceNow’s
development tools.
2. Integration and Automation:
o Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise applications through REST/SOAP APIs
and data integrations.
o Automate manual processes and optimize workflows to improve service delivery
and efficiency.
3. Platform Administration and Support:
o Maintain and administer the ServiceNow platform, ensuring its stability and
performance.
o Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing ongoing support for end-users.
o Perform regular system updates and upgrades to stay current with ServiceNow
releases.
4. Collaboration and Requirement Analysis:
o Work closely with stakeholders and project teams to gather and understand
business requirements.
o Provide guidance on best practices and suggest improvements for existing
workflows and processes.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of
solutions.
5. Documentation and Compliance:
o Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including user guides
and best practice guidelines.
o Ensure that development work aligns with company policies, security standards, and
compliance requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or
equivalent work experience).
2. 5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer or similar role.
3. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting (e.g., Client Scripts, Business
Rules).
4. Strong experience with ServiceNow Studio and Flow Designer.
5. Knowledge of core ServiceNow modules, such as ITSM, ITOM, or HRSD.
6. Familiarity with ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP web services.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
9. ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or ServiceNow Certified System
Administrator (CSA).
10. Experience with the ServiceNow ITSM suite and additional modules.
11. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
12. Understanding of ITIL practices and certification (e.g., ITIL Foundation).
