Role Overview:
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Software Testing Interns to join our dynamic team. As a Software Testing Intern, you will work closely with experienced professionals to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. This internship will provide hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing processes while offering valuable insights into industry-standard testing practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in manual testing of software products to identify bugs, issues, and inconsistencies.
- Participate in automated testing using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or other industry-standard automation frameworks.
- Work with bug-tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or Trello to document and track identified issues.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and ensure quality assurance.
- Assist in creating and executing test cases to validate the functionality and performance of software applications.
- Report detailed findings and suggestions for improvements to the development team.
- Support the quality assurance team in maintaining and improving the testing process.
Skills Required:
- Exposure to automation tools like Selenium, JUnit, or similar is a plus.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or Trello.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking to identify issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills to report bugs and test results clearly.
- Ability to execute software tests to identify bugs, inconsistencies, and other quality-related issues.
- Eagerness to learn and gain hands-on experience in the software testing field.
